Our old, gross, dust-collecting (and spewing) wall heaters weren’t cutting it as a primary heat source. We opted for a ductless heat pump system as our main heating, and cooling, system. We finished the install in 2011 and have been really pleased with the heat uniformity and efficiency. As these systems are up to 90% more efficient than traditional wall heaters, we received a federal tax credit and our local utility offered additional rebates and incentives.
